  • JW MARRIOTT HOTEL ROTUNDA - LAS VEGAS

The rotunda takes the visitor to one of three places: to the right, the corridor leads to the first hotel; to the left, the visitor is taken to the retail center; and directly behind the view of the photograph, the visitor is taken to the conference center. Lighting design by David Tibbitts.

  • THE SANDS MACAU CASINO FLOOR - MACAU, CHINA

This photo was taken from the second floor, and shows the main casino floor. Because the ceiling height was over 80 feet, no downlights were used. The upper level ceiling has decorative color-changing lights, and the gaming areas were lit using a total integrated solution, inclusive of the security cameras, speakers, gaming table lights and ambient space lighting. Lighting design by David Tibbitts.

The integrated gaming solution is pictured from the ground floor. These units host security cameras, speakers, gaming table lights and ambient space lighting. Each tier of the chandelier in the background stands approximately 10 feet tall, and at the time it was built, was the largest chandelier in the world, according to the Guinness World Records. • THE PUBLIC PORTE COCHERE AT THE SANDS MACAU CASINO - MACAU, CHINA

This covered entry is driven into by arriving casino guests. To understand the size of the space by scale, each chandelier is 40 foot in diameter. Lighting design by David Tibbitts.

  • THE SANDS MACAU CASINO PRIVATE REGISTRATION DESK - MACAU, CHINA

For VIP guests, they avoid the Porte Cochere public entry and check in at this reception desk. From there, they are escorted to their suites. Three levels of lighting were required to illuminate and showcase the face of the desk and accentuate the finish work, which included gold leafing throughout. Lighting design by David Tibbitts.

  • THE SANTA FE CASINO FLOOR - LAS VEGAS

The main casino floor of the Santa Fe Hotel & Casino is pictured. The project involved remodeling an existing casino floor and adding new casino floor space. Lighting from the existing casino needed to be integrated with the new construction. When the project finished, one couldn't tell where the existing space ended and the new construction space began.
