New Employees:

Britton Family We welcome Jared Britton as Senior Lighting Designer. Mr. Britton is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Architectural Engineering. He is the current President of the Illumination Engineering Society of North America Utah Chapter, and brings almost a decade of experience in lighting design. He holds certifications in both advanced AGI computer lighting software, and is a Certified Lighting Designer (NCQLP). Mr. Britton is the father of two and enjoys spending time with his family, and in serving his church and community.


Awards:

Envision Engineering chosen as TOP ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING FIRM for 2010 by IEA, Utah. Once again, we are pleased and humbled to receive this award. Thank you to our design and engineering partners who voted for our team!


Jeff Owen, Managing Principal of Envision Engineering Receives the Delamar Holt Service to the Industry Award!
This award is given annually and is the Association’s most prestigious recognition. It is reserved to honor an individual that has throughout their career demonstrated an extraordinary level of community and industry leadership and service.



Envision Engineering was recognized in March with a patriotic award by the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedom by supporting employees deployed to serve in Iraq.



Envision Engineering received an award for "Best Institutional project" for the 55,000 SF U of U Carolyn Irish Tanner Humanities Building by the Intermountain Electrical Association of Utah. This project received an Honor Award by the American Institute of Architects earlier this year. (Architect of Record, CRSA, Utah). This facility was one of the first buildings to be designed utilizing the State of Utah’s new High Efficiency Building Standards. To this end, high efficiency lighting design methods were utilized, as well as HVAC integration into the occupancy detection controls.
