University of utah South Campus Student Housing & Dining

The project is new campus housing for nearly 1,000 students, based on a living and learning community model. Includes spaces such as lounges, community kitchens, and study areas. The facility will also host classroom space and faculty offices. The dining area will seat 650 occupants with multiple food stations, back of house facilities like food production and prep areas, a bakery, and dry/cold storage.

Utah state Univ. SORENSON LEGACY CENTER FOR Clinical EXCELLENCE

Built for the College of Education and Human Services, the new facility houses six different clinics treating the following: autism; family and human development; aging and memory; health and exercise science; speech, language, and hearing services; and persons with disabilities. This facility offers vocational, graduate student training, clinical research, and community outreach.

University of utah Crocker science center

Intended for undergraduate science classes and graduate research, this interdisciplinary laboratory facility will contain the latest equipment within spaces designed to promote collaborative learning, inquisition, and social study. Glass walls line laboratory spaces inviting observation. A full four-story atrium will provide superb daylight harvesting and usher light into laboratory and study areas.

University of Utah Gardner Commons Building

Formerly referred to as Orson Spencer Hall (OSH), this main undergraduate classroom building is home to the largest college on campus, the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Envision was part of the original redevelopment study completed in May of 2014 with EDA Architects, and helped evaluating the options for the renovation or rebuild given the site constraints and problems at hand with the building. The old building has been torn down, and a new one erected in its place.

Utah State University Brigham City Academic Building

USU’s new Brigham City Academic Building was built with broadcasting instruction in mind. The building houses a 250-person multi-purpose room and 130 seat auditorium. With distance education on the rise, the facility incorporates A/V systems so that instruction can be recorded and transmitted anywhere

BRIGHAM YOUNG UNIVERSITY NEW ENGINEERING BUILDING & Annex

BYU's new Engineering Building brings the department a state-of-the-art facility housing office, classroom, and advanced laboratory spaces. Labs include wood and metal shop, welding, an ME low vibrations lab, a bio mechanical research lab, a composite structure design lab, a nano-tech chemical lab, robotics lab, autonomous vehicle research lab, and many other prototyping, modeling, and assembling areas. The new annex, a 16,000 SF building, is strictly labs housing wind tunnels, a water flume, a multi-fuel reactor, a molten salt reactor, a fluids lab, and an engine dynamometer, among others.

OWATC – Business Depot Ogden Bay 2 Build-out

This project was the build-out of interior space in the Business Depot-Ogden (BDO) warehouse facility. The interior was converted into classroom, office and lab space. The space now serves a Composites Program, a Non-Destructive Inspections Program, and an OSHA Forklift Program. The areas are flexible, with the ability to adapt differing programs and needs in the future.

University of Utah Pierre Lassonde LIving Studios

The Lassonde Studios complex has become a national attraction where 400 students are chosen to live and work as part of the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute program at the David Eccles School of Business. This "electrically flexible" facility includes a 20,000 SF ground floor think-tank “garage”, where students can attend live events, use 3-D printers, build prototypes in a metal and woodworking shop, compete, engage in product launches, research, and collaborate.


University of Utah Medium voltage Upgrade (Lower Campus)

Envision provided electrical design for the upgrade and replacement of the existing underground medium voltage (12,470V) electrical distribution system throughout the entire University of Utah Lower Campus, from about west of Wasatch Dr./Mario Capecchi Dr. and the Married Student Housing. Envision completed this design - the largest electrical project in the state of Utah - in 2016.

UVU Geneva Campus masterplan

Envision studied the best options for serving the new Geneva campus with electrical power. Three options were discussed at length - a new electrical substation; taking delivery of power at the available 12,470 and stepping it down; or the traditional delivery method where RMP owns and operates the electrical infrastructure. The decision necessitates UVU's projected loading for the next 10 years.


University of Utah L.S. Skaggs Pharmacy Research Building

The Skaggs Pharmacy Research Building is a highly praised addition to the University’s PharmD program. It is an addition to the existing pharmacy building, and provides over 100,00 square feet of additional state-of-the-art research laboratories, offices, collaborative learning spaces, a vivarium, and support spaces.

OWATC Samuel H. & Marian K. Barker Family Health Tech Bldg.

The Ogden-Weber Applied Technology College (OWATC) houses all college health care programs including Dental Assisting, Dental Office Administration, Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, Medical Transcription, Medical Coder, Practical Nursing, Nursing Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, and a cohort of Weber State University’s Registered Nursing program to serve OWATC graduates. This state-of-the-art facility enabled the college to double its capacity for training and job placement by serving up to 1,200 health care students annually.

Weber State Professional Classroom Bldg. & Central Plant

This 3 story, 115,000 square foot facility provides state-of-the-art instructional space made up of labs and classrooms. The building design incorporates a 3 story atrium space in the main circulation area.

SLCC Professional Development Center Remodel

Located on the Taylorsville-Redwood Campus, the college remodeled 11,300 SF of the existing Professional Development Center (PDC), which supports faculty and staff training & development. This dedicated space is not for students, and other campus staff travel to this facility to receive ongoing training. The center includes training rooms, teaching labs, computer labs, conference spaces, a lounge, and a kitchen.

University of Utah Carolyn Tanner Irish Humanities Bldg.

Designed to be the core of student life on campus and the hub for the University’s College of Humanities, this 55,000 SF facility was one of the first buildings designed utilizing the State of Utah’s new high efficiency building standards. To this end, high-efficiency lighting design methods were utilized as well as HVAC integration into the occupancy detection controls. This project won the AIA Utah Honor Award in 2009.
