K-12 Schools

Hillcrest High School

Canyons School District | Midvale, Utah

The Hillcrest High School project represents a significant renovation which includes large-scale partial demolition and new construction to update and expand the school. The orientation of the school was completely changed with a new site plan and the architecture for the building was re-imagined propelling the school’s legacy forward.

Envision provided electrical engineering services to upgrade existing electrical systems and provide new infrastructure to support the power and technology needs for Hillcrest now and in the future. Extensive coordination and relocation for on-site utilities was required.

In addition, electrical and lighting design significantly contributed to a high level of energy efficiency, as well as beautiful lighting of educational spaces throughout the school. Audiovisual, acoustical, and security systems were designed as state-of-the art.

Envision developed a construction phasing plan over the course of three years to safely accommodate the renovation while the school remained operational.
